The six sections with which the Central Crime Branch registered cases are:
1) Section 420 - Cheating and indulging in fraudulent activities.
2) Section 506 - Punishment for intimidation (of the inmates such as Lenin Karuppan).
3) Section 376 - Punishment for Rape (where several of the women devotees are said to be raped by Swami Nithyananda. A Canadian Women was said to have been raped by Nithyananda! She later died and the cause for the death could not be determined).
4)Section 295 (A) - Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings or any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.
5) Section 377 - Sexual activity "against the order of nature" which was earlier involving of Homosexuality and was repealed on 2/7/2009. This section of the law involves punishment and criminalisation of coercive sex and sex with minors. Nithyananda was alleged to have involved in coercive sex and hence the law was enforced on him. He also had indulged in unnatural sex offences apparently complained by Lenin Karuppan.
6) Section 120 - Concealing design to commit offence punishable with imprisonment (Criminal Conspiracy)
What gives a comical ending to the Nithyananda scandal is that the Nithyananda Ashram itself suggested that it was the conspiracy of Lenin Karuppan who morphed the video while others argued that such perfect morphing cannot be done by even the Pixar and Hollywood Studios! The Computers that can generate such morphing is hardly found in India which were not even owned by the top studios in India!
Now, before Nithyananda could file charges on the suspicious Lenin Karuppan, the complaint was put forth by the same Nithya Dharmananda alias Lenin Karuppan before the Police! It is also confirmed that if Lenin Karuppan was a close inmate and an ex-devotee, he could have taken a video of Nithyananda by all means!
Now that criminal charges are filed against Nithyananda, he will be scrutinized more and when he pops his head out, there is an immediate arrest awaiting him! Commissioner of Police T. Rajendran said, "Special teams have been formed to secure Swami Nithyananda for further investigation. But for the charge of criminal intimidation and cheating, most part of the offences seems to have occurred in the ashram. The case will be transferred to Karnataka. We are ready to provide all assistance to the Bangalore police."
This move counters speculation on the Tamil Nadu Government being biased about the Guru Nithyananda and swinging the case in its favor! The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Kalaignar Karunanithi has dealt with the issue in the best way possible!

But I should say, I care much for the innocent people who fall victim to these Gurus like Nithyananda or any other.
Let me tell you, I do not want anymore innocent people to resort to these Gurus, make them rich, lose all their money to them, and get cheated.
Please for God's sake, do not make another God on earth man! I want to create awareness and I do not want to justify an individual like Nithyananda!
Mine is a kind of collective consciousness and I want the masses to be benefited than an individual is!

I'm very disappointed by the scandal.As a devotee, it is hurting to see the person whom i thought was everything seen on a sex video.But, I cannot overlook if injustice is done under the guise of Guru.
I know they collect so much money , and there is arrogance in the manner where they handled the participants of their courses.Ananda

Nithyananda was not the only case in isolation. Today, I read on Ananda Vikatan that a Swamiji in the north sells human skull for something around Rs. 5000 and makes a lot of money.
He has sold about thousands of them. These God Men are self-styled. Nithyananda has maintained that he has not done anything illegal and has stressed so much on the same.
This implies that he does not want to speak about the authenticity of the sex video. This also is an indirect confession of having had sexual encounters with so many women.
Whether or not Nithyananda had indulged in legal offences or in anything illegal, I have always maintained that the breach of faith and hypocrisy are the only things that are punishable offences.
The psychological hurt of having trusted or equated someone close to God and the betrayal of the trust ultimately matters. This leads to severe emotional hurt of thousands of individuals or followers.
I know of a few followers who do not even believe and they still defend Nithyananda. It is because if they accept the fact, they will be even more hurt. Fearing a greater hurt, they still defend Nithyananda.
And thank you for pointing out (what you say matters as you were an insider) that they collect loads of money. When customers are treated in an unfair manner after large amounts of money is collected, then it means that it is a business that is badly run. The main motive of the business is to earn money.
That very business will not grow and will eventually stagnate. The business does not care about customer satisfaction. Though customer satisfaction was high in Nithyananda's business, inside information was stirred by those insiders who wanted to bring them to light.
Insiders felt a lot awkward living a life of despair though Nithyananda enjoyed all lavish comforts along with a few actress mistresses in his bed. It is all money, fame and pleasure that mattered to God Men like Nithyananda.
We should also stay away from such sleazy Swamijis. It is not necessary to celebrate anyone and make him God. We should not make anybody God, for if we at least remember that God cannot walk on Earth.
Anyone can live with such lavishness and I would not say Nithyananda was denied of his rights. In fact, he can live a life as he wants, but that is not at the cost of millions of devotees by fooling and suppressing them.

ReplyDeleteThank you for posting a comment. Lenin Karuppan is a nobody. He need not be probed into and he need not be made a superstar for exposing them.
However, thanks to him that Nithyananda's sexual escapades came to light. It is not necessary to know who Lenin Karuppan is but it is important to know who Nithyananda is as he has thousands of crores riding on him which is the money of millions of people in the world.
Nithyananda has been the biggest of scam artists in recent times. It is good to know where Nithyananda stashed up all the illegal money he has earned.
Leave Lenin Karuppan get back to what he was doing. Let him live a humble life. For now, the rich and infamous Nithyananda will be making news for all the wrong reasons.

Ha ha ha! Lol! That is a funny remark! Nithyananda could go so bad as to call himself a transvestite. This is a psychological disorder of criminals to escape by any means possible even if by something that is considered as a disgusting one!
