Warrior Forum limits (Controls) Expression of Individual Writers - Encourages Spammers!

Warrior Forum is a Forum I believe for Writers who are involved in online writing to earn their livelihood. You can use the forum to make your career flourish with new offers and can also clear doubts on online marketing, Search Engine Optimization and any doubts on the Internet Writing. This forum is for those who have taken the internet and writing as their profession.

I very much liked the forum and was smitten with it when I interacted with so many of the writers from across the Globe. I always have the habit of posting on forums. So, the first thing I did was to post a thread on their forum though I read very less of the other posts. I had about 121 people witnessing my thread within the first two days of posting. I got about 12 or so replies.

That is when the problem started. My thread was about preparing an English Training Module for the rural village children who do not learn proper English due to poor education in Panchayat, Municipal and Corporation Schools. People from India understood the truth or reality posted replies calling it a good initiative. But understandably, the westerners did not understand the situation and suggested something like, "Maybe they should get good teachers."

Then, an Indian named "Arya" (NRI - Living outside of India in some native English country) said learning English was not going to change their lives. If they wanted to learn English and develop inferiority complex, why weren't they proud of their mother tongue Tamil? Here if people dropped out of School or College due to English, there (in Native English speaking countries) drop out rate was turning too high and the medium of learning as well as teaching is English. (Why would a native English student drop out of School due to English?)

He pointed out that he had been to India and there was no necessity for such a module even for rural India. He also said that there were a lot of students who did not get to go school (How contradictory of the previous statement?). I replied to him with a long post and then I got slightly miffed with an Indian claiming to know the nook and corner of India residing all comfortably in a western country. I gave strong replies to him. Then I said, "Am I doing something as bad as spamming? Or something more worse than spamming?"

I opened it late at night and read on the screen:

You have been banned for the following reason:
Breaking the Forum Rules!
Date the ban will be lifted: Never

I searched for my thread and that too was banned. There are mistakes on my part - Not reading the terms and conditions before signing up. I remember I included this blog's URL which a pop up said, "You cannot insert links before completing 15 posts. You are now at 7 posts." I removed the dots and posted "rationalfilms(dot)blogspot(dot)com. My intention was not to put my blog URL there. I felt that mentioning my blog was important and so I did though I did not want any straight back link to my blog. Hence, I could by all means use (dot) instead of the real dots.

Two possible explanations for being banned was (I assume) that "Arya" interpreted my explanations as personally offensive and complained to the moderators or I entered my blog URL before posting 15 replies. I think only paid members gain access to strong arguments and is not straightly connected with avoiding conflict in the forum. But what I find offensive on the part of Warrior Forum is that there were no explanations for which they could argue, "We had this in the terms and conditions." Then, there was no politeness even in the terms and conditions and also with this message.

You have been banned for the following reason:
Breaking the Forum Rules!

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Why was there a strong disrespect for any individual who is banned and why is there no politeness, though warrior forum may be the most sought after by professionals.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Here, if I were to paraphrase this in a polite manner, I would say, "The ban cannot be lifted." Or, "We (would like to inform you that) will not lift the ban on you." These are more polite and any other way of expressing is also a possibility. But this is purely intended to be harsh. When they say, "Date the ban...." you will look forward to having the date. But then they are sadistic in making you disappointed in saying, "Never". I wonder what pleasure is derived out of it.

I had mistakenly entered my email address once on Locanto.in wile placing an ad and their message ran something like this, "Your email is banned for terms of use violation." I did not feel any offended with the subtle distinction of politeness in this message. Warrior Forum is not fully free of cost. Certain sections are available on payment and no refund will be made if there is a ban.

There was not any room for making an explanation or for asking them to repeal the ban. What is more hypocritical is that they encourage spammers who post ads like, "Earn $17000 within 2 hours!" How atrocious! Is anybody becoming Bill Gates by reading the spam thread? Good job Warrior (Forum)! Please argue by saying that it is up to the users to ignore them!"

It could be very blatantly apparent that Warrior Forum encourages Spammers with the intention of earning money than to encourage individual writers grow in stature. Warrior Forum knows best on where the money comes from. Warrior forum, from the beginning, was a "control freak" which could be observed from the rules they impose on you.

I am not fuming for I got banned but I am fuming about how unkind or inconsiderate they could be and in the name of being strict treat writers like thieves who burgled their forum. I agree that I made a mistake but wouldn't there be any chance given for me to explain? Won't the ban messages be more polite? Why was not there any option to know why I was banned and correct my mistakes?

Is this the way they treat the writers with whose contribution the warrior forum is growing or has grown? Is each and every writer dependent upon Warrior Forum to have their careers grow? Will writers become losers if they are not going to be in the forum? An open forum may be strict to avoid conflict but it cannot ruffle the feathers of its users for even the smallest of mistakes they make. I believe I have the "right to information" and I hope the Warrior Forum is aware of that.

Why does "Warrior Forum" deny me of the right to information and act sick? However, it is better if Warrior Forum recognizes the contribution of the millions of Forum Members it has banned. Warrior Forum may understand that it is with their contribution they have grown. If Warrior Forum is genuine enough, I hope they can give an explanation or at least address my grievances.

If Warrior Forum is going to wield its clout even further on me, let them "ban" me from blogging.

"To err is human: to forgive is also human; but to not forgive is ANIMAL!"

I hope Warrior Forum understands this!

"If rules are not right and humane, speaking the same rules over and over again is not reform; breaking or changing the rules is what is called a reform,"

I am deeply hurt by the behavior of Warrior Forum! Warrior Forum may at least consider giving an explanation, if writing could be a powerful tool. If Warrior Forum does not care about the grievances of the end-users, and if one user out of 6 billion is too negligible to be noticed, then Warrior Forum may right away ignore me.

Due to the indefinite ban, none of my posts nor my thread could be retrieved or reproduced!

I found these websites or blogs that are against the forum. You can look in for more details.

CSK vs RR: Old rivalry reignited - Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings: CSK lost once more

Your Ad Here

The Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings IPL 3 match ended up with Chennai Super Kings on the losing side once more. The Rajasthan Royals took a royal march once again. Chennai Super Kings humbled down as inferior lot!

Dhoni's cricketing acumen came handy the first time around. He understood the format before anyone could explore and exploit. Even Australia, a specialist one-day side, did not know of the nuances of winning a Twenty20. It was much like the One Day Internationals as a format which was not exploited by a team other than West Indies. But later on, all the top teams came to the groove and evolutions in the game taught the players a lot.

This was the case with the Deccan Chargers and more so with the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Chennai Super Kings explored and exploited the format in the first IPL and Rajasthan Royals won the Cup with the help of their vintage Captain Shane Warne adding some Australian element to the team.

Dhoni knew of the format after an emphatic Twenty20 World Cup win! He explored and exploited. But now, the same Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have been forced to feel that an immaculate Captain as he is is not enough for any team to win. He would have been forced to understand that a good winning team requires players who at least try to win or least try to play good cricket.

I received a text message that read:

"We are playing a tournament match next Sunday in T. Nagar, Somasundaram Ground. Please join. Rs. 5000, if we win. Opponent is Chennai Super Kings! Quite a cakewalk! We stand great chance!"

Suggestions for the Chennai Super Kings

Similar Chennai Super Kings jokes have been doing the rounds! The Chennai Super Kings can be bought a school bag and a few books with which they can play "book cricket" and practice themselves.

The Chennai Cricket Players selection stigma

Quite truly, these Chennai Super Kings lads are playing like Gully Cricket Players. I mentioned the stigma associated with their game play in the last post. This is further substantiated by today's match against the Rajasthan Royals. More than that, I lost interest to post an article about the Chennai Super Kings by last match itself.

Watching Chennai Super Kings play is an eyesore. Oh what an unpleasant experience! We cannot support a team that plays on our behalf. Why is the team quite ordinary when we have the one and only Chennai Super Kings to support? What has India Cements done right or wrong to have the Chennai Super Kings lose match after match?

Today's match was one where the Chennai Super Kings flirted with good cricket at times though not with a win. I could only mean the wickets and catches and nothing more. The Chennai Super Kings must understand that it is tiring to see such a game. Don't lose spectators and, mind you, you have only one state to support. At least in the north, you have neighboring states to provide the support. Here, you have both the Deccan Chargers as well as the Royal Challengers!

And Kochi is coming up to make up for the Kerala Team. Understand the situation you Chennai Super Kings? Or India Cements your players are under your thumb! So, please give them a squeeze like squeezing a lemon! Ignore all Chennai players and take some players from other states. When we talk about Chennai Super Kings, we are talking about players that can never make it to the national team anytime.

The Chennai selection stigma seems to be a real one. Chennai players are not that talented and they lack ability to make it to the national team. There is no politics in the selection committee. You guys are not talented at all. This is the one and only chance you have to prove yourselves from where you can make it to the National Team. Don't you know how to utilize that?

The Rajasthan Royals played decent cricket when they went out to bat. But the Chennai Super Kings rather started off well. They scored at a good rate from where they could have accelerated onto a win. Why was the Chennai Super Kings lazy enough to score the big shots? The Chennai Super Kings players seem like ones who just came out of the bed. Subramaniam Badrinath seems to be a player like Rahul Dravid (Dravid is classy) and he never looks like one who scores the big runs.

Classy players can adapt to any format but Subramaniam Badrinath is more of a Test or One-Day player. Why do not the Chennai Super Kings players score boundaries when they have chances to win the game? Why do they let the required run rate go to impossible levels? One of my friends was talking about "Match Fixing in IPL" which I shrugged off as an impossibility.

But why do they let the asking rate go through the roof`when they can consolidate with that rate scoring at the required rate? How are they going to get it by letting the required run rate go up? It is a real waste of time to talk about Chennai Super Kings who look like a real maidan cricket players who lose out to the local area teams! No scores, nothing this time.

A real waste of time to look for scores and accurate details. To mark this sad day, I may not want to post any pictures and waste time. Let us see, if I do. But there is nothing more to post of Chennai super kings. Actions and images will not be any inspiring. The Chennai Super Kings players look like one that suffers serious inferiority complex.

Advice for India Cements and Chennai Super Kings

The Chennai Super Kings look like a earthworm who can easily be overpowered under any shoes even when a kid slaps at it with its shoes! One good advice for the Chennai Super Kings owners India Cements! Please sell the team or dissolve the team, if you are not able to manage the team. We will make a lot of jokes on Chennai Super Kings if they lose matches again and we will eventually stop watching.

Let Chennai and Tamil Nadu not be humiliated with your game play. Please save our faces before it gets too late. Chennai Super Kings team is dumb! Chennai Super Kings team is an utter humiliation to Tamil Nadu and Chennai! Please remove the team from IPL!

William Sutcliffe's Are you Experienced? vs Sebastian Shakespeare - Is that due to the passage of time?

I found an article on http://blog.rohandsa.com/2010/03/good-news-bad-news.html which reminded me of a novel I read a few years back. William Sutcliffe's Are you Experienced? is a satiric take on India's poverty, the people, the culture and the typical western views on India. Get to read it, if you can.

The book is crass though humorous. I wondered how such a crass take on our culture could happen. In much of a cliched  way, I expected the protagonist to change his views on India towards the end. But as I read on and on, I found that the protagonist goes back to London and finds the London air refreshing. I found that the book was enjoyable, it had very good humor but there was no storyline, as we might expect in Indian Commercial Masala films.

The twists and turns were never to be but it led me to read till the end. I don't know if there have been so much developments in the Indian economy, culture and education over the past decade or so (the book was written in 1990s I guess), but then I found this article on the above mentioned blog. Read this news article, where an English man Sebastian Shakespeare has chronicled his memoirs of his experiences in Tamil Nadu.

This article reflects a significant change in the Indian economy. Let me tell you the story in Are you Experienced?. A young student who is about to go college wants to tour a country of the third world. This seems to be a custom in Britain to include the experiences in their resume to gain an advantage that they have suffered the hardships needed to learn about life.

That is why they choose a country such as India. But now, We can be proud of India and be more friendlier towards foreigners who visit India at least for the benefit of the Tourism Industry or reflect our distinct culture of warmth, friendliness and love.

India has never invaded any country throughout her history and we can nurture global relations and propagate peace. We can be the best ambassadors of peace! Time for us to put aside the differences in culture and ethnicity. We are together called as Indians!

CSK vs MI IPL 3 Match Result: Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians: Sachin Tendulkar nudged Mumbai Indians to an emphatic win

Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians IPL 3 match ended with Mumbai Indians winning with ease. Chennai Super Kings's total of 180 didn't help them secure a win! Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar took care of the proceedings!

"If Dalai Lama were to watch the IPL, would he support the Chennai Super Kings or the Royal Challengers Bangalore?"

I read on Yahoo, a headline, on Dalai Lama watching the IPL! I didn't read the article fully. Hopefully, will catch it today. By the way, one more Kudos to us for two of our predictions had turned right. We said in our last post that Dhoni will come back in to the side for the match against Chennai Super Kings for some damage control, then the Chennai Super Kings will lose the match against the Mumbai Indians! Gee! We have been right on more than one occasion!

Sachin Tendulkar won the toss. Experience helped Sachin take good decision

Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and decided to field. The Mumbai Indians rather restricted the Chennai Super Kings to a 180? Knowing that the Mumbai Indians will win the match with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar? Earlier Mongoose bat Matthew Hayden scored 4 fours of consecutive deliveries of Zaheer Khan. Then, he got out cheaply.

Suresh Raina came to the crease and scored a well made 83 off 52 balls with seven fours and three sixes and remained unbeaten. Subramaniam Badrinath scored 55 off 45 balls. In Twitter, it was joked that the strategy of Mumbai Indians was to not appeal for Badrinath's wicket. The batsman did not give a flying edge to his game but rather scored better than a run a ball.

They sailed the Chennai Super Kings to a comfortable total of 180 runs. It could also be called as a comfortable total for the Mumbai Indians to chase with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. The Chennai Super Kings, though they scored at 9 runs per over, lacked a fighting spirit. The team always looks ordinary and looks like "just-out-of-bed".

They scored a few shots here and there except for Suresh Raina's batting who scored most of the runs. This is a serious sectarian humiliation for the Chennai Super Kings. This further echoes the stigmatizing of the Chennai players as lacking talent to play at the International level. At least Dinesh Karthik is one of the fine players from the soil, who unfortunately plays for the Delhi Daredevils.

Even that move would not make much of a change. The commentators (probably Harsha Bhogle I remember) told that the last over by Lasith Malinga which gave away just 7 runs could have been the crucial turn around for the Mumbai Indians. Was it true? It clearly indicated that the total on the board was not enough for the lackluster Chennai Super Kings bowlers to defend.

The Mumbai Indians innings

The Mumbai Indians scored at brisk pace right from the beginning. Shikhar Dhawan scored a brisk 56 off 34 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Then, Sachin maneuvered the team to a superb victory with 8 fours and 1 six. His strike rate was 138.46. Sachin Tendulkar scored 72 off 52 balls. The inexperience of Saurabh Tiwary was revealed when he fell to the spin wizard Mutthiah Muralitharan. He was caught LBW by a straightening Mutthiah Muralitharan delivery which pitched in line. Mutthiah Muralitharan made useful contribution by picking up 2 wickets but that was not enough for the Chennai Super Kings to win.

The team demanded a team effort to win. Probably, the next IPL auction will call for a few good bowlers for the Chennai Super Kings team. It was all quite easy for the Mumbai Indians and they never looked out of the game for even a single moment. The Mumbai Indians won the game against Chennai Super Kings quite comfortably.

I wanted to see God today. He came in the form of Sachin Tendulkar!

I wanted to see God. I knew I would see him today. I gleefully saw Him score 72 off 52 balls. I was wondering if I wanted Chennai Super Kings to win or Sachin Tendulkar to score a comfortable half century. I opted for the latter. I had long foregone my love for the Chennai Super Kings that the team remains the least glamorous of all. Even the ever losing Kings XI Punjab has been glamorous! Not only with Preity Zinta! Mind you!

CSK vs RCB: Royal Challengers vs Chennai Super Kings: Poor CSK lose out to an immaculte RCB

Chennai Super Kings lose IPL 3 match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore! Poor batting by the Chennai Super Kings batsmen! CSK Top order batsmen falling cheap! RCB excellent as they have been in two seasons!

We are still proud in having said that the Chennai Super Kings is an ordinary team even when it was winning! The Chennai Super Kings proved to be an ordinary team once more. Both batting and fielding need to be better for the Chennai Super Kings!

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) innings

The RCB started off slowly. They played around six an over for the first half of their innings. With Kallis and Dravid departing early, the Royal Challengers put up an ordinary show in the beginning. But when Robin Uthappa came to the crease, things started to shift in favor of the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The team owner Vijay Mallya who was at the stadium would sure have been pleased with his team's performance so far.

Robin Uthappa scored 68 off 38 balls with 3 fours and 6 sixes at a strike rate of 178.95. Though all others fell cheaply, Robin Uthappa singlehandedly raised his team to victory. The spin wizard Mutthaih Muralitharan was the one who performed so much better for the Chennai Super Kings once again. If class players like Jacques Kallis and Anil Kumble are to perform the best for the Royal Challengers, then it is Mutthaih Muralitharan for the Chennai Super Kings.

The Royal Challengers were marshaled to a total of 171 for 5. With a good total to go by, Royal Challengers Captain Anil Kumble would have gotten a lot more confident fully being assured that the Chennai Super Kings would no way get to the target. If he got mighty Matthew Hayden and the Mongoose bat, then Royal Challengers would be close to another win.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) innings

Chennai Super Kings CUSKS!

If you were dyslexic, you would read this right! Even with Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings looks an ordinary team though there are two class players Matthew Hayden and Mutthaih Muralitharan playing. Chennai Super Kings had an uncertain opener who had a lot of failures to his name! Once touted as the Butter Gloves Patel, Parthiv Patel departed very early in the innings for just 1 run of 3 balls.

Mongoose bat Matthew Hayden was not impressive either! Scoring 5 fours, he got to better than a run a ball 32 off 28 balls. He was then run out by a Dravid direct hit at the non-striker's end. Matthew Hayden was half way up and while he got back to the crease, he was a little late. That marked the Chennai Super Kings defeat.

It was going to happen and the rest of the batsmen were all over the place. Most of them made room outside off stump only to nudge the ball to singles even when the asking rate was climbing well over 12 runs per over. No worries for the Chennai Super Kings as they sailed to a decent and face-saving total of 135 for 7 which seems to be their average score in each of the games.

In the last match, they were not able to score one run and break the tie to a win but this time no nails were bitten, no super duper overs, but simple losing out to the Royal Challengers Bangalore which the whole world had to witness!

Apprehensive shots took the toll and they lost quite comfortably to the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Teams that are playing as a unit are the Royal Challengers, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals (though they lost several matches), Kings XI Punjab and almost all others but the Chennai Super Kings seem to be eleven individuals who bat and bowl. With the absence of Dhoni, the team spirit is even worser.

The Chennai Super Kings could not even score more of sixes and to go with that, fewer fours to chase a run rate of over 8.5 runs per over. Their medium pacer, Vinay Kumar took four wickets and helped them win though he went for 40 runs in four overs! The Chennai Super Kings lost the match quite gracefully as well as graciously.

Predictions for the next match

Hurt Chennai Super Kings will be hurt once more with the Mumbai Indians with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar doing both good captaincy as well as classy batting. The Chennai Super Kings will be looking to make a come back and say, "Wait! Let Dhoni come and see what we do!" Dhoni will have to come with a huge sigh (out of burden) and will have to shoulder more responsibility.

After the Mumbai Indians, the Chennai Super Kings will win continuously and will eventually not win the IPL 3 Cup! Let us see, if our predictions turn right at least with Dhoni returning after the Mumbai Indians or if he will be returning early.

Suggestions for the CSK Team Management

The Chennai Super Kings can also make use of some service as Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan does. They can opt for coaching by the public! They can take coaching tips from the audience. Then they must seriously look into the team composition and if contracts are to be over by this year, they should hire new talented players from International teams.

The CSK team management shall take the players to a picnic and do some team building activities. One of the activities should be group hugging! India Cements wake up! Your team is not the most attractive as Kolkata Knight Riders are! Even if they lose all the matches, they will still make profit. But if you lose, I don't know your means and your biggest asset might turn a liability.

That is all for today, and when Sachin Tendulkar lashes Chennai Super Kings, more suggestions will follow!

CSK vs KXIP: Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab: Preity Zinta relieved over KXIP victory

The Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab IPL 3 match was won by Preity Zinta's Kings XI Punjab. The actress was completely elated over an unlikely victory. Dhoni to carry more weight post recovery

Well! Kudos to ourselves when we said the Chennai Super Kings is an ordinary team! Of course, Chennaiites are unlucky to have gotten a rather mediocre team and now the fact is substantiated by the Chennai Super Kings losing out to Kings XI Punjab. The Kings XI Punjab did not look any closer to victory for more than three quarter of the entire match.

The Chennai Super Kings may have gotten an age old Matthew Hayden, clean striking and spearheading Dhoni, a wily off spinner Muttaih Muralitharan, but at times they cannot break free when they really have to. In today's match, it was Muttiah Muralitharan who downsized the Kings XI Punjab to a meager total of 136 for the loss of 7 wickets with his magical spell of 3 wickets for 16 runs.

Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab - Kings XI Punjab won the match against Chennai Super Kings

A nail-biting finish and beyond! This match was like life after death. The Chennai Super Kings had let the match go down to the wire! The Chennai Super Kings lost the match from 65 for no loss. Wickets falling in quick succession led to the downfall of the Chennai Super Kings. The Chennai Super Kings were left stranded at 136 for 8 losing the wicket of Ravichandran Ashwin at the last ball of the 20 overs.

The Chennai Super Over

The tie breaker was announced with a Super Over. Three of the batsmen from both the teams get to play six balls. Both teams can lose a wicket. The Chennai Super Kings took Matthew Hayden, Albie Morkel and Suresh Raina. The Kings XI Punjab chose Mahela Jayawardene, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan. The bowler they chose was Juan Theron.

Albie Morkel played a single and gave the strike to Mongoose bat Hayden who was bowled out the very first ball he faced. Then, Suresh Raina went on to score a six to post a Super Over total of nine runs. Then, awaiting their turn, the Kings XI Punjab came up with Mahela Jayawardene to open who scored a six off Muttiah Muralidaran's very first delivery. Repeating the loft, Mahela Jayawardene was caught in the deep (Long on).

Then came the fiery Yuvraj Singh who was out of form until today and was involved in a controversy recently with Aanchal Kumar where he was found in a party with the model. Yuvraj Singh missed one (delivery off Muralitharan) and then reverse swept (another delivery from Muralitharan) to score a four! The Kings XI Punjab scored the Super Over target of 10 runs set by the Chennai Super Kings to win the match!

Kings XI Punjab won their first match in IPL 3 - Preity Zinta all smiles over the win

The Kings XI Punjab won their first match in IPL 3 while Chennai Super Kings lost their second match in the IPL in four of the matches they played so far! Chennai Super Kings remain at the fourth place in the IPL 3 points table while the Kings XI Punjab move a position up to Seventh

CSK vs DD IPL Match Result: Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils - Yet another victory for CSK - DD lose out to Inexperienced CSK

The Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils IPL match ended up on Chennai Super Kings winning the game quite comfortably. Chennai Super Kings were forced to chase a big total of 186 which they did so comfortably.

The Chennai Super Kings won with the help of Matthew Hayden! Matthew Hayden scored 93 off just 43 balls and Suresh Raina's 49 off 34 balls helped the Chennai Super Kings secure a comfortable win!

Matthew Hayden started hitting the ball all around the park right from the word go! Players like Hayden are promising cricketers who perform for their team after losing out on one or two matches. So much as Adam Gilchrist does for the side he plays for! A lot was expected of Matthew Hayden after two failures and so much after Dhoni's absence from the side.

Matthew Hayden lived up to expectations who played a splendid innings and helped Chennai Super Kings win the match! Chennai Super Kings is a team that is not full of stars nor superior bowlers but promising players or fighters who will win any kind of match! However, there is a catch! The Chennai Super Kings may prove to be ordinary at any point of time!

Matthew Hayden Mongoose Bat

Meanwhile, Matthew Hayden launched the Mongoose bat on 11 March 2010 which he used on the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Match against Delhi Daredevils on 19 March 2010. Matthew Hayden powered Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to victory scoring 93 off just 43 balls using the Mongoose bat.

The blade of the Mongoose cricket bat is 33 percent shorter than that of the ordinary bat. This bat is the only change in the design of the bat used so far or could be termed the only significant change in the anatomy of thee cricket bat. The handle of the Mongoose cricket bat is 43 percent longer which makes the bat equal the size of the normal bat. The Mongoose bat provides a 20 percent increase in power and a 15 percent increase in bat speed.

The long handle does not make the mongoose bat a dwarf and helps the bat reach out to hit the ball with ease. The mongoose bat is light weighted and hence, can provide more bat speed. This bat is designed especially for Twenty20 matches and batsmen will now increase their frenzy of rage to hit as many runs as possible.

CSK vs DD - Delhi Daredevils posted 185 with Sehwag scoring 74 off just 38

Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils is underway! A cool Sehwag had gone berserk at the start of the Delhi Daredevils innings! Virender Sehwag scored 74 off 38 balls! The Chennai Super Kings was led by a rather inexperienced Captain Suresh Raina! Earlier the fielding of Chennai Super Kings was top class!

The Delhi Daredevils team was ironically led by a Chennaiite. The Delhi Daredevils was led today by Dinesh Karthik due to the absence of Gautam Gambhir over the injury sustained by him!

We will have to wait for a couple more hours to see if Chennai Super Kings will win this Twenty20 match with the absence of their Star Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni! Looks like there are hopes for Chennai! We will return after the match ends with the result!

Dhoni ruled out of IPL Season 3 for 10 days

Disappointing news for the Chennai Super Kings fans! Dhoni to miss out on IPL for ten days! The Chennai Super Kings Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will not be available for four of the IPL matches! Yesterday, while at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, the Indian Skipper was hit by a speeding Shane Bond produce.

The kiwi speedster playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL sped it up on to the elbow of the Indian Skipper who shook hands with all the opposite team members with his left hand after the Chennai Super Kings won the match. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was subjected to an X-ray which ruled out the possibilities of any fractures, or any other serious injuries.

Dhoni, though rested, will be travelling along with the Chennai Super Kings to their venues and will be seen in the dressing room along with the other team members, for their next fixture with the Delhi Daredevils, at the Feroz Shah Kotla, on 19th March 2010.

Dhoni will sit in the dressing room for the other three matches that will follow. The Indian Skipper won’t be available when the Chennai Super Kings will take on the Kings XI Punjab on 21 March 2010, the Royal Challengers Bangalore on 23 March 2010 and the Mumbai Indians on 25 March 2010.

The PTI reports, “Dhoni will be out of action for the next 10 days and the exact nature of his injury is being examined by the doctors at a private hospital here,” which was quoted from a source close to the team management.

“He (Dhoni) will be travelling with the team to Delhi,” the source further added, “An official announcement will be made once the nature of the injury is determined by the doctors.”

Chennai Super Kings won the IPL match with Dhoni's effort - Sourav Ganguly's Kolkata Knight Riders lose their first game in IPL 2010

Sometimes it seems that the IPL is a lackluster extravaganza but all the ideology goes bang along with each and every six that is scored. When Mahendra Singh Dhoni bats Chennai Super Kings singlehandedly to a comfortable win, the interests are alive. Probably, I am as hypocritical as some of the Sex Scandal Swamijis.

When Matthew Hayden failed, when a rather inexperienced Suresh Raina did and all other specialist players did, Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni leads by example. He is the first ever Captain who has done so. Some of the Cricket lovers argue that it is Sourav Ganguly who started this trend but it is true that Sourav Ganguly lead from the front but when the team is down in spirits, it is Mahendra Singh Dhoni who shows what next to do.

"Do as I do, Don't do as I say," goes well for the Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This is characteristic of Dhoni even in One Day Internationals, T20 Internationals and also the IPL. He seems to have a surefire plan to win! Sometimes, I feel that Dhoni takes a backseat and lets the opposition take advantage.

He seems to be complacent and then suddenly the team which should have lost by 140 runs goes on to score a 250 to lose. This is a common occurrence. I have seen this in Dhoni's Captaincy but it is also not true that he sits complacent and takes some rest when he feels he is good enough to win.

So many of the Captains in the past have failed to win in crucial encounters just when they seemed to be winning all along. That includes Mohammed Azharuddin and even Sourav Ganguly to some extent. By the way, incidentally, Dhoni won against his former Captain Sourav Ganguly yesterday!

The Mahendra Singh Dhoni Trivia

Yesterday, when Sunil Gavaskar asked Dhoni before the toss, if Dhoni liked to be called Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Dhoni, MSD or Mahi, Mahendra Singh Dhoni said, he liked being called "Mahi" as that is what friends used to call him when he was young. People called him in various names and he always liked being called "Mahi". Then, a moment later, Sunil Gavaskar said, "I am not holding you up.....," the toss was already going to happen.

Dhoni ran towards those present for the toss. He probably was thinking that the Camera was not yet switched on. But then, it was for everyone to see. Dhoni again embarrassingly had to join Sourav Ganguly and had to run once more towards him. Then, as luck commanded, Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first which did not seem to be a wise decision.

Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders - the toss and the 2010 IPL

When Sourav Ganguly was asked about the decision, he said that he would have opted to field first, had he won the toss. It seemed that Sourav Ganguly was apparently happy with Dhoni's decision and seemed to indicate that batting first was a wrong decision to make.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that if their (Chennai Super Kings) strength was batting, they would be advised to chase, but if their strength was batting, they could post a huge total on the board and let the opponents chase. As it turned out, Sourav Ganguly seemed to be right with his remarks and was probably pleased with the result in the initial overs.

But then, a determined Mahendra Singh Dhoni took the crease and made sure that the team posted a decent total on the board. Dhoni's 66 off 33 balls along with Subramaniam Badrinath's 43 off 33 took Chennai Super Kings to a total of 164. Things could change within a few overs in Twenty20 Cricket and Dhoni did not fail to utilize that.

In the second innings Dhoni's men pulled off a comfortable victory by a big margin by Twenty20 standards. The partnership between Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Subramaniam Badrinath was 109 in just 65 balls which helped the Chennai Super Kings to victory.

However, bad luck continues for the Chennai Super Kings as Dhoni is out of IPL 2010 for ten more days due to an injured elbow. It remains to be seen how the inexperienced Suresh Raina will lead the side. There also can be a better choice for captaincy but the inexperienced Chennai Super Kings might have to go with Suresh Raina as the Captain. I personally reckon Lakshmipathy Balaji could become the Captain for the next few games of the Chennai Super Kings until Mahendra Singh Dhoni returns.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni - a successful icon of modern youth

To all the youngsters, Mahendra Singh Dhoni may remain the icon or the ideal person who inspires to bring success into their lives! Dhoni uses sheer intellect, intelligence, presence of mind, talent, ability, hard work, clarity of thought and mind to become the most successful youth icon! Even Yuvraj Singh has not lost to Dhoni when he was considered to be the potential Captain after Rahul Dravid.

Yuvraj Singh lost out to his own imbalances in mind, heart and physique. Dhoni could keep himself physically coordinated by his mind which is the most important thing to a sportsman. The mind and body coordination is what that keeps Sachin Tendulkar going and this does for Dhoni too!

The emotional competency of Dhoni was absent in Yuvraj! And Dhoni's emotional competency was not due to his upbringing or his childhood experiences, but it is one of sheer maturity and understanding. Let us hope that Dhoni could win the 2011 Cricket World Cup with ease with a determined Sachin Tendulkar beside in his armory!

Life after Death - Life before Death - How we came into being

Here, in this article, I will take a backseat or put myself on the back burner and let others think differently and come up with answers regarding life, what we are, how we came into being, what we will be doing after death, where we will be, parallel universe, big bang theory, big crunch, black holes, past, future, time travel and anything that you come up with regarding life after death and explanations to life on earth and life before birth.

Let me tell you my observations, conceptions and thoughts on what life on earth is, what life after death will be.

Here is my primary, amateurish, non-scientific and non-substantiated (I don't know the prefixes for these two words - someone please suggest - I do not care much as well) assumptions on life after death, life on earth, life before birth!

Assumption 1 - Life on earth

Life on earth is served probably for no purpose. Here we are born randomly to one speck of the millions (You know what I mean - when the toilet is flushed - when the guy is to compensate cursing his lack of opportunity) that take the transit to the destination (Again, you know what I mean and I do not want to incur the wrath of the feminist groups defining what I mean) and they both could otherwise be wasted, if they do not take the opportunity to travel. The one lucky guy who travels gleefully, like in a John Travolta film (Don't remember the name of the film). He takes the opportunity leaving behind other unsuccessful guys!

Assumption 2 - Life after death

Here, I believe that we are left behind on this planet, if buried. We are either eaten or decayed and we might go on to become millions of life forms, all small and obscure. Then, they go on and become different life forms after their death. This continues infinitely.

I also think that we die, our Atman dies, and our thoughts do not! They just simply go on and stay in this world for eternity. There might be a few of the Scientists who would say your memory and thoughts are dead as soon as you die, as probably the cells die as well. But, in spirituality, people say that you are not your mind, your conscious, your subconscious, your thoughts, but something that overlooks all of these.

That way, hypothetically I say our thoughts remain on earth after our death. Anyway, it is highly sad to think that we are blacked out with no memory just as it happens to Arnold Schwarzenegger when he goes down the fire in the movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Sad enough and that is a harsh truth for anybody to take.

If I were to live after death, I think I probably would be born again on a different universe (like in parallel universe - let's say universe "Y"), and I suppose that the timeline there would show 1987.

Assumption 3 - Life before Birth

The purpose that this post is so stupid (and lazy enough to Google for relevant facts) is because 1 I want to put forward my stupid assumptions which if turns true, the world will read me in the future (I am copyright protected, mind you - even if not, you are put into disrepute if I show the time I posted) and also 2) for other intelligent people to assert their own concepts on life after death and all possible explanations.

I know that the comments section is highly difficult to post as I have not enabled much features! Please do take the patience to do so. This topic, I guess, would interest you to think differently and say, "You moron! What you say is absurd! This is what science says and this is close to the truth!"

Go on and put forward your views and I hope that I have given you some place to quip amazing facts about life! That will be a great feast of a debate once you ignite and kick start!

IPL extravaganza! IPL bigger than ever!

I was actually critical of IPL's Back in India Campaign where I posted that the IPL Back in India Campaign was a lame attempt to win back lost crowds. It was quite apparent that IPL's last year stint outside of India was not a success strategy. The away IPL matches irked the home audience and the audience seemed to lose interest!

But something that is big in scale excites me and I am a neo-capitalist than being a "red-is-good" guy. That way the IPL might benefit only few rich people! But one can also keep himself open and receptive to the generation of employment that happens through the IPL. Always, a phenomenon as big as IPL is exploited by the media (to mint money as news), public (entertainment), and also the "red-heads!" Mind you! I am not talking about Blondes and Brunettes!

The IPL goes doubly richer by Rs. 18999 Crores and any phenomenon of such large scale always benefits people indirectly! The last and the least is entertainment!

The IPL eve

The IPL will kick start with Actress Deepika Padukone who has been found being closely associated with both Cricket and Cricketers! The Sexy Actress will be performing live on the stage! Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have got new jerseys that are more appealing than before! Owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders Team Shahrukh Khan believes that Purple and Gold Colors will attract girls than Black and Gold.

The Rajasthan Royals have gone for two jerseys for home and away matches! One for Home and One for Away! The Home Match Jersey for Rajasthan Royals is Blue with Golden Sleeves and for Away Matches the Jersey is Golden with Blue Sleeves!

What Not and How Not - The IPL Broadcast on Internet and Mobile Phones

The IPL Broadcast will happen through more than one channel. Newer channels will air the IPL which is not the case before. Technological developments have led to the IPL being telecast in more streams than before! One does not have to be glued to the Television sets to watch the IPL, buy expensive match tickets, return home swift from office or tune the radio frequencies.

Of course you will do all of these but guess what will happen if the IPL is broadcast on the internet, youtube (though there will be a five minute deferring of live action due to technical reasons), giant screens in restaurants, theaters, multiplexes, live commentary on mobiles, SMS and MMS score updates, iPhones (by downloading IPL Applications), and Social Networking and Social Media Sites like Facebook, Micro Blogging sites like Twitter (I will also be part of it) will all be abuzz with the IPL!

This year's IPL will mark a Mega Event! The IPL broadcast through various devices will mean that Offices, Parks, Beaches, Bus Stations, Railway Stations, and the whole of India will be engulfed by the IPL! The whole country is bound to celebrate the IPL Mega Event this year! It all remains for us to wait and see if we can make the most out of the IPL Mega Event 2010!

Oscar Winners 2010

Oscars are, of course, news-makers across the Globe. But last year around the same time in February, I chanced upon a Swiss woman, or girl perhaps, with whom I had had an hour long chat! When I asked about the Oscars, she said she did not know about them! She knew the Oscars but not the winners!

Then, I asked if she knew about a certain Indian who won two Oscars! She said she did not know! After describing the physical attributes of the man, I thought she came closer to identifying AR Rahman! "Yeah a man with leeeaaaan face! Loooooong face! He is skinnieeeee........ Taaaaalll."

I was getting intrigued! Several portraits of Actor Vijay, Shahrukh Khan, and Amithabh Bhachan engulfed my mind! I was feeling dizzy! Was she mistaking Actor or Doctor Vijay for Rahman? Could she have seen several posters on the streets of Actor or Doctor Vijay?

Our Conversation continued, "Yeah..... Yeah..... The same man! He won two Oscars!" I merely had to hope that she was not mistaking that Actor Vijay won the Oscars! I wanted to cut short the conversation for I did not want to drag the conversation and also to not make a stunningly beautiful girl feel disappointed. I wanted to make her feel that she was right!

Her problem was that she mentioned that she did not understand the Engilsh spoken in Hollywood Movies which is much similar to the case in India! She apparently had problems in speaking and understanding English!

That apart, Oscars are a surefire news to be known or glanced upon. Here, I found this article on http://cinemablend.com which was compiled by Oscar Live Blog as mentioned in the article. Here the article lists both the nominees and the winners! The Winners are given in Bold Letters! Others are nominees!

But before reading the article, you may watch the video!

I anticipated that Avatar would not qualify to win too many Oscars given that Avatar was plagiarized from 16 sources! Kathryn Bigelow and her ex-husband contested the Oscars together! Kathryn Bigelow's ex-husband James Cameron contested with his much acclaimed Avatar which was made in a grand scale. Kathryn Bigelow's Hurt Locker was a small budget film!

The film Hurt Locker probably won the Oscars six time for its qualitative Screenplay, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Direction! Avatar was a distant three Oscar winner! Other Oscar Winners are not much famous in the Eastern parts of the World!

Before you finish reading the article on Oscar Winners 2010, hope I would be able to ring up the Swiss girl for a feedback on this year's Oscars!
