Indian Cricketers Brawl: IPL Parties: Pub Visits: Cricketers to play Matchings not matches

It is said that when money is made so easily, people do not know how to sustain it or that it leads you to wrongdoings. This has come true with the Indian Team. An anonymous cricketer reveals that cricketers during IPL took to hardore late night partying. Some of them thought they would be back in ten minutes to their rooms but it went on and on. Indian Cricketers had to realize that it was 4AM when they were back from the parties and had to constantly catch up with time to fly to the next destination.

Some of them even had to take the road and rail routes which took them hours. Cricketers were mercilessly exhausted not by the BCCI and the IPL but by the late night parties. The Late Night Parties were only responsible for India's humiliating defeat in the West Indies. Not only the Late Night Parties but the two or more chicks, Indian cricketers took to their rooms before dawn. Imagine the exhaustion! It was not two or three cricketers who took two or three girls to their rooms.

One Cricketer batted and bowled to two or three girls constantly who played (Matchings) within their hotel rooms. Those days of sinners, the days of the greatest of sinners - Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and the 1983 World Cup winning teams were the culprits. Had they taken (to) three chicks at once and bowled and batted, the current Indian players were saved of their disrepute. Angry Indian Cricketers are contemplating a (party) brawl with the cricketers of 80s.

This team is led by Yuvraj Singh with Rohit Sharma as Vice Captain with other players like Ashish Nehra to do the bowling while Yuvraj Singh will do the batting with a long bat - the longest hitter and the most prolific hitter. Yuvraj Singh's prolific scoring ability is well known. He has scored six sexes so far and a lot in domestic batting and first class matchings.

The eligible bachelor will open the innings and will not allow anybody at the non-striker's end. He will bat the two ends and will not allow anybody on the other end. The oldies (80s cricketers) are gearing up and are ensuring 100% fitness to play with the current Sachin Tendulkar of Indian Cricket - (Yuvraj Singh who has scored the most number of runs and six sexes in Matchings).

Kapil Dev finds it the toughest challenge to play with Yuvraj who tops the charts - the prolific batsman he says. "This matchings will be the toughest. Yuvraj's form and class are incomparable," says expert Sunil Gavaskar. Kapil Dev played some matchings in his earlier days and now he lost his form, class, energy, power and fitness.

TV Networks came forward to broadcast these Matchings and Board Of Control for Matchings in India (BCMI) President Yuvraj Singh has sold the rights to Internet Video Streaming websites except 'Youtube' and the list includes Meta**** (Censored), Slu*****(Censored), Por*****(Censored), XVI****(Censored) and so many other websites.

Meanwhile, a lot of youngsters are looking forward to get to (p)lay the Matchings but BCMI (Board of Control for Matchings in India) President and Opener Yuvraj Singh remains a tough clique.

Chennai Super Kings won the IPL match with Dhoni's effort - Sourav Ganguly's Kolkata Knight Riders lose their first game in IPL 2010

Sometimes it seems that the IPL is a lackluster extravaganza but all the ideology goes bang along with each and every six that is scored. When Mahendra Singh Dhoni bats Chennai Super Kings singlehandedly to a comfortable win, the interests are alive. Probably, I am as hypocritical as some of the Sex Scandal Swamijis.

When Matthew Hayden failed, when a rather inexperienced Suresh Raina did and all other specialist players did, Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni leads by example. He is the first ever Captain who has done so. Some of the Cricket lovers argue that it is Sourav Ganguly who started this trend but it is true that Sourav Ganguly lead from the front but when the team is down in spirits, it is Mahendra Singh Dhoni who shows what next to do.

"Do as I do, Don't do as I say," goes well for the Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This is characteristic of Dhoni even in One Day Internationals, T20 Internationals and also the IPL. He seems to have a surefire plan to win! Sometimes, I feel that Dhoni takes a backseat and lets the opposition take advantage.

He seems to be complacent and then suddenly the team which should have lost by 140 runs goes on to score a 250 to lose. This is a common occurrence. I have seen this in Dhoni's Captaincy but it is also not true that he sits complacent and takes some rest when he feels he is good enough to win.

So many of the Captains in the past have failed to win in crucial encounters just when they seemed to be winning all along. That includes Mohammed Azharuddin and even Sourav Ganguly to some extent. By the way, incidentally, Dhoni won against his former Captain Sourav Ganguly yesterday!

The Mahendra Singh Dhoni Trivia

Yesterday, when Sunil Gavaskar asked Dhoni before the toss, if Dhoni liked to be called Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Dhoni, MSD or Mahi, Mahendra Singh Dhoni said, he liked being called "Mahi" as that is what friends used to call him when he was young. People called him in various names and he always liked being called "Mahi". Then, a moment later, Sunil Gavaskar said, "I am not holding you up.....," the toss was already going to happen.

Dhoni ran towards those present for the toss. He probably was thinking that the Camera was not yet switched on. But then, it was for everyone to see. Dhoni again embarrassingly had to join Sourav Ganguly and had to run once more towards him. Then, as luck commanded, Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first which did not seem to be a wise decision.

Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders - the toss and the 2010 IPL

When Sourav Ganguly was asked about the decision, he said that he would have opted to field first, had he won the toss. It seemed that Sourav Ganguly was apparently happy with Dhoni's decision and seemed to indicate that batting first was a wrong decision to make.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that if their (Chennai Super Kings) strength was batting, they would be advised to chase, but if their strength was batting, they could post a huge total on the board and let the opponents chase. As it turned out, Sourav Ganguly seemed to be right with his remarks and was probably pleased with the result in the initial overs.

But then, a determined Mahendra Singh Dhoni took the crease and made sure that the team posted a decent total on the board. Dhoni's 66 off 33 balls along with Subramaniam Badrinath's 43 off 33 took Chennai Super Kings to a total of 164. Things could change within a few overs in Twenty20 Cricket and Dhoni did not fail to utilize that.

In the second innings Dhoni's men pulled off a comfortable victory by a big margin by Twenty20 standards. The partnership between Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Subramaniam Badrinath was 109 in just 65 balls which helped the Chennai Super Kings to victory.

However, bad luck continues for the Chennai Super Kings as Dhoni is out of IPL 2010 for ten more days due to an injured elbow. It remains to be seen how the inexperienced Suresh Raina will lead the side. There also can be a better choice for captaincy but the inexperienced Chennai Super Kings might have to go with Suresh Raina as the Captain. I personally reckon Lakshmipathy Balaji could become the Captain for the next few games of the Chennai Super Kings until Mahendra Singh Dhoni returns.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni - a successful icon of modern youth

To all the youngsters, Mahendra Singh Dhoni may remain the icon or the ideal person who inspires to bring success into their lives! Dhoni uses sheer intellect, intelligence, presence of mind, talent, ability, hard work, clarity of thought and mind to become the most successful youth icon! Even Yuvraj Singh has not lost to Dhoni when he was considered to be the potential Captain after Rahul Dravid.

Yuvraj Singh lost out to his own imbalances in mind, heart and physique. Dhoni could keep himself physically coordinated by his mind which is the most important thing to a sportsman. The mind and body coordination is what that keeps Sachin Tendulkar going and this does for Dhoni too!

The emotional competency of Dhoni was absent in Yuvraj! And Dhoni's emotional competency was not due to his upbringing or his childhood experiences, but it is one of sheer maturity and understanding. Let us hope that Dhoni could win the 2011 Cricket World Cup with ease with a determined Sachin Tendulkar beside in his armory!

IPL extravaganza! IPL bigger than ever!

I was actually critical of IPL's Back in India Campaign where I posted that the IPL Back in India Campaign was a lame attempt to win back lost crowds. It was quite apparent that IPL's last year stint outside of India was not a success strategy. The away IPL matches irked the home audience and the audience seemed to lose interest!

But something that is big in scale excites me and I am a neo-capitalist than being a "red-is-good" guy. That way the IPL might benefit only few rich people! But one can also keep himself open and receptive to the generation of employment that happens through the IPL. Always, a phenomenon as big as IPL is exploited by the media (to mint money as news), public (entertainment), and also the "red-heads!" Mind you! I am not talking about Blondes and Brunettes!

The IPL goes doubly richer by Rs. 18999 Crores and any phenomenon of such large scale always benefits people indirectly! The last and the least is entertainment!

The IPL eve

The IPL will kick start with Actress Deepika Padukone who has been found being closely associated with both Cricket and Cricketers! The Sexy Actress will be performing live on the stage! Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have got new jerseys that are more appealing than before! Owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders Team Shahrukh Khan believes that Purple and Gold Colors will attract girls than Black and Gold.

The Rajasthan Royals have gone for two jerseys for home and away matches! One for Home and One for Away! The Home Match Jersey for Rajasthan Royals is Blue with Golden Sleeves and for Away Matches the Jersey is Golden with Blue Sleeves!

What Not and How Not - The IPL Broadcast on Internet and Mobile Phones

The IPL Broadcast will happen through more than one channel. Newer channels will air the IPL which is not the case before. Technological developments have led to the IPL being telecast in more streams than before! One does not have to be glued to the Television sets to watch the IPL, buy expensive match tickets, return home swift from office or tune the radio frequencies.

Of course you will do all of these but guess what will happen if the IPL is broadcast on the internet, youtube (though there will be a five minute deferring of live action due to technical reasons), giant screens in restaurants, theaters, multiplexes, live commentary on mobiles, SMS and MMS score updates, iPhones (by downloading IPL Applications), and Social Networking and Social Media Sites like Facebook, Micro Blogging sites like Twitter (I will also be part of it) will all be abuzz with the IPL!

This year's IPL will mark a Mega Event! The IPL broadcast through various devices will mean that Offices, Parks, Beaches, Bus Stations, Railway Stations, and the whole of India will be engulfed by the IPL! The whole country is bound to celebrate the IPL Mega Event this year! It all remains for us to wait and see if we can make the most out of the IPL Mega Event 2010!

IPL - Back in India

To some of us it might seem as a hyperbolic event! But the truth is much different. The strategy on the part of IPL administrators to popularize the tournament abroad in other cricket playing nations has turned out to be an unsuccessful one.

I chanced upon to read an article about Pakistani players angry about being snubbed in the IPL-3 Auctions. In fact, in similar fashion, the IPL was snubbed in South Africa drawing lesser crowds from South Africa as well as attracting lesser interests from India. An anonymous blogger added some attraction to the behind the scenes from the Kolkata Knight Riders team.

Otherwise, the IPL was a mere run-of-the-mill last time. But the latest attempt to revive the interests might start to work well in the cricket crazy nation. Do Indians feel much acknowledged and have their interests revived in the IPL after the IPL's failure to establish itself abroad? Or forget the abandonment in the last season and embrace the new season as faithful audience?

But the Back In India campaign is nevertheless blatant and overt in using a failure to create success. This indicates how such an overtly commercial phenomenon can turn out to indulge in such lame attempt to attract the audiences in any way possible.

What is debatable is not the strategic decision making of the administrators but their ways in attracting the necessary audience to survive. Both the Back In India slogan and campaign seem to be very much of a lame attempt that tries to cover up a past mistake. But then the audiences are the ones who have to look at the campaign in the right way.

IPL is a treasure hunt for player delinquencies and infinite controversies in which case the game seems monotonous than the anonymous blogger. IPL has initiated the very first of controversies through the omission of Pakistani players which might be another notoriously, infamous tactic on finding the headlines or the omission of Pakistani players was intended for security reasons or for other international players to feel comfortable playing the game!
